OVER 40 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE
1979
Founding of AERA.
Since its creation, the company based in Bouxwiller in the Bas-Rhin region has relied on the excellence of manufacturers Hugo Beck (Germany) and RonTech (Switzerland) to offer high-performance film wrapping machines and particularly reliable and efficient feeders.
1991
Opening of the company’s firts building in Route d’Uttwiller in Bouxwiller
2001
Expansion of the building constructed in 1991
with a machine showroom and expansion
of storage facilities.
Development of the marketing of polyolefin shrink films
with a preferred supplier partnership.
2007
Hubert LOEFFLER hands over the company
to his sons Jérôme and Thomas LOEFFLER.
2008
AERA has acquired a BOPP film cutting workshop.
This highly innovative service enables us to supply
reels in specific dimensions according to customer specifications.
For many major brands in the food, pharmaceutical, and multimedia sectors.
Development is progressing rapidly thanks to our customer partners and market demand for a serious and responsive player.
2016
Aera inaugurates a new, modern 4,200 m² factory and expands its operations.
The company builds up its capacity with a larger stock and new high-performance film-cutting lines.
AERA also obtains BRCGS certification.
2021
The company is expanding its offering with a range of paper and PVDC-free films.
AERA has obtained PEFC and FSC® certification for its custom cutting of sustainably managed paper.
2022
AERA obtains ISCC PLUS certification for processing and tracability in biosourced films and those containing recycled PCR.
